My daughter has challenged me to innumerate my dreams/goals for 2008 that are tucked away in my bucket.
Wow! What a challenge!
I think before I place my dreams/goals for 2008 in my bucket, I’d better check through my bucket to see if there are any goals that were accomplished or dreams/goals that have to be reworded.
Let’s see…
DREAM/GOAL—get married to the most wonderful man in the world—that dream/goal was achieved 35 years ago as of this Sunday, January 27, 2008. I will file that dream/goal away in my heart and REWORD AS FOLLOWS: Continue to enjoy life with that same wonderful man for the rest of my life.
DREAM/GOAL—have children—another important dream/goal that produced 5 beautiful (and handsome) children–Christine, Warren, Nick, Jay, and Stacy. We also had three angels who are paving the way to heaven for us. REWORD AS FOLLOWS: Love and pray for our children; be available if they need me; hear—really hear what they have to say; immensely enjoy them, because they are God’s beautiful gifts on loan.
GOAL—home-school children. Yes!!!!! This was accomplished—I don’t need to rewrite the goal.
GOAL—be a caregiver for parents—both parents are in Heaven—I don’t need to rewrite the goal.
GOAL—become a Certified Life Coach. Accomplished!
DREAM/GOAL—build a business of helping people. I’d better keep this goal alive. I truly want to help people attain their goals.
GOAL—survive carbon monoxide poisoning and rebuild my health and life. MUST REWRITE THIS GOAL TO INCLUDE MAKING A NECESSARY AWARENESS OF THE DANGERS OF CARBON MONOXIDE. THINK BLUE!!!

Thank you for pushing me to sweep out the old bucket and start fresh. May the Dear Lord approve of these dreams/goals and lead me in the right direction. His will be done!
